This is part of the preparation for the next rotation in August in which a battle group of 2 Le Royal 22e Régiment will be rotated in as the Royal Canadian Regiment battle group rotates out.
Le Royal 22e Régiment is colloquially known as "The Vandoos" which is how "22" sounds to anglophone ears.
