I’ve put on weight and gotten older. I’ve been taking college classes and continue to work toward 4-yr degree. Oh, and I have settled down a bit. My last huge FReepin’ good time was at the corner of Blackstone & Shaw here in Fresno when hubby and I went after the Jew haters.
How are you?
That was debunked back in the 1960's. The "Book of Breathings" was a funerary text and did not even match the physical descriptions of the Book of Abraham.
This link has about 20 articles that go into the issue extensively. Research on the Book of Abraham
There is also evidence for Heiratic Script in the Middle East (Hebrew written in Egyptian like pictographs). Here are about 10 research articles on Reformed Egyptian
Most of the first 20 presidents were Masons. We've had one raised as a Jehova Witness and another was a Quaker. We've has a VP candidate who is Jewish. (And of course we've had plenty of atheist secular humanists parading as Christians, but lets ignore those Dem's for the moment.) Nobody deserves to be President based on their religion. I think Mitt the man can become Pres. based on his merits as a good Presidential Candidate and as you point out common political grounds.

I have absolutely NO OBJECTIONS to having "evolving" changes in attitudes but to have one attitude to appeal to the big government, pro-universal health, pro-gay, pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-open borders crowd, in the very liberal New England.
Mr. Romney then turns on a dime on all these stances, just in time for a run at the '08 Primaries, is way, way too much of a coincidence to suit my conservative, pro-life, anti-liberal, anti-big government, pro-2nd Amendment, anti-amnesty in ANY form whatsoever, anti-gay agenda including marriage sensitivities.
The MSM will attack Fred Thompson even more for being a cigar smoker! The MSM hates smokers-especially Republicans who smoke!
More importantly, the sudden death of Jerry Falwell solidifies Dobson’s stature as the evangelicals’ most influential spokesperson. A flat-out endorsement of any candidate would be huge.
I, however, think Dobson is going to withhold an endorsement until the field narrows more. I would be surprised if he tossed his hat prematurely.
I really think the media has back fired on the religious angle. They have actually got more people taking a closer look at Romney....and they like what they see. Attacking him on religion is a total loser.
I used to believe in legal abortion myself and so did Ronald Reagan....I changed my opinion and so did they.
The way a negative is amplified is not by directly attacking him ... the DNC goons will have media sycophancy to amplify the strangeness of Mormonism and turn off conservative Christian voters if Romney is the nominee. Just the contentious debates at FR tells one that a certain percentage of voters would be turned off by the deceit from those defending Mormonism.
Romney governed Mass conservatively....in spite of an 85% other party congress. To state that he is somehow liberal is just total ignorance. His record is out there for all to read....take advantage.
Somehow, I think Romney, like Reagan, will communicate to the masses way beyond what the media wants them to hear.
I would rather have Romney living next door to me that most Christians. Like I said....the religious attack is a loser. People are going to like him because of his clarity and values.
I’m doing well, I will never forget the day you got to call Willie Brown “Clinton’s Boot Shiner(I thought it was licker)!” We sure stunned the dems that day!
Remember my friends daughter with the sign around her neck asking “Mommy, What Is Oral Sex?”? Oh, the looks of digust on the faces of those elitist fools looking out those windows at us!
I miss those days!
Please take care of yourself and stay in touch!

Here is the text of the Book of Abraham linked so the dear reader can decide for themselves. THE BOOK OF ABRAHAM TRANSLATED FROM THE PAPYRUS, BY JOSEPH SMITH CHAPTERS - 1 2 3 4 5 Facsimile No. 1, Facsimile No. 2, Facsimile No. 3
The papers you seem to be refering to (though I am not sure as you haven't named or linked them) are called the Kirtland Egyptian Papers. They are a group of documents written by Warren Parrish, Oliver Cowdery, and William W. Phelps. Most of the text is in Warren Parrishes hand. The copies of heiroglyphs are not in Joseph Smith's handwriting.

Thinking back . . . it’s a wonder I made it out of a few of those freeps alive. Ha! One liberal guy spit on me in San Francisco and hubby took out after him and made him apologize. I remember this one FReep in Sacramento when a great big guy got in my face and I wouldn’t back down. I kept yelling “Don’t you dare touch me!” He backed off. Ha! Those were the days.
You were awesome!
