"I tried to get help in the beginning," she said. "I wrote Oprah (Winfrey's) O Magazine. I got my daughter to call certain talk show hosts, Montel Williams, Maury Povich. There was no interest."

That's what most people do afterall... it's how our grandparents survived two world wars and the Great Depression.

Prude claimed she called the election commission to attempt to withdraw her ballot but that a person she spoke with told her not to worry about the vote.

It stretches credulity that she thought her vote could be located. What were they supposed to do, check all the ballots until they found her fingerprints?

Asked what gift she wants for her first Christmas at home, she thought for a moment and said, "You know what, I want no surprises this year."

Apparently what surprised her this year was getting caught. "But everybody does it! Why did they have to pick on me? Waaaaaaaaah!"

struggled with substance abuse and compiled a criminal record

Yah got to love how their verb choice paints the mental image of her working hard at things. struggling, like it was mountain climbing or something. Compiled? Compiled a record? What is that, like filing papers alphabetically? No, she did drugs and committed crimes. I admit to actively disliking very few people, but liberal reporters make me sick, just SICK.

Lets see, you will go to jail the first time you rob a bank. You will go to jail the first time you murder another human being. You go to jail the first time you commit voter fraud in America!

Are we now supposed to cry every time a criminal commits a crime and actually goes to jail for the crime?

WTF man!

“In big bold letters, it says OFFENDER, and they still let me vote,” Little said. “I thought it was their job to know the rules.” ......................RULES? We are Democrats, we don’t need no stinking rules. The rules are only for Republicans.

A convicted FORGER, on probation, violates her probation by engaging in blatant vote fraud, including vouching for individuals she didn’t even know and signing two voter registration cards for the same voter.... oh, yeah, what a sob story..... only the leftist MSM could try to make a convicted forger who gets involved with ‘RAT vote fraud an object of sympathy. She tried to cheat the system, she got caught, just STFU and do the time, lady.

The government said that at the polls on election day, “Prude improperly vouched for individuals she had never met. She also signed as the corroborating witness on two on-site registration cards for the same voter.”

......

She was sentenced to serve two years concurrent with a state sentence for forgery. She pleaded guilty to the state charge in 2000; her six-year prison term was stayed and she was placed on supervision.

The voting fraud conviction contributed to her probation being revoked. Due for release in fall

I also like the line "The voting fraud conviction contributed to her probation being revoked."

In other words, she broke other terms of her probation as well.

Since the sentence for voter fraud is being served concurrently with her other sentence, she basically got convicted, but not punished.

She got caught red handed, and got a slap on the wrist, and this article is whining about how unfairly she was treated.

She should have voted here (Washington State) even living in a different state and being a felon. Nothing would have happened to her and her vote would have counted.

The bigger question is who paid her to commit fraud?

Hers is only one of many cases, who organized this?

The prosecutor should not make any deals unless the perps reveal the identities of the higher-ups in this atrocity.
