I guess the letters and phone calls and emails are working.

Let’s keep it up.

What if the criminal aliens, crooks, terrorists and narco-gangsters don’t want amnesty? Why should they? Wouldn’t they have to pay taxes? How can you force criminals to become citizens? Why would you? If these people really wanted to be real citizens they wouldn’t use phony ID’s.

NO AMNESTY for Employers or Employees!

I agree the phone calls and letters can make a big difference.

Yes, they are.

Go to www.senate.gov, find your senators and FAX (if you have a fax) to each of their district offices. The phone lines are jammed. Fax the dems too, they need to know we are out here!

You voiced the true reason the bill isn’t being acted upon immediately. True to form, the dems and rinos who support this atrocity recognize that when their phones haven’t stopped ringing for days, perhaps they should try a different tactic, i.e.: try to slip it by at a later date.

We HAVE to keep the pressure up. When I called my useless senators, Kohl and Feingold, Feingold’s staffperson thanked me and I asked her if she would like my name so she would be able to identify me by name when she forwarded my comments to Feingold. She acted a little shaken and asked for the spelling of my last name so she could check their “data base”. I spelled it for her and she then repeated my full name (which I hadn’t provided) as well as my address. I proudly said that her data was correct.

I guess it pays to be a frequent writer and caller even though I know my requests for action on legislation fall on deaf ears.

I’ll bet you have no problem with the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny either. Look at all the Senators who voted to invoke cloture. What makes you think any of them will vote against the bill? If they were against the bill, all they had to do was vote against invoking cloture.

The Democrats want more Democrat voters and the business wing of the Republican Party wants cheap labor. The majority of voters want enforcement, but that same majority has no voice in this matter because it does not provide enough of the money that politicians need to be reelected.

I will keep making calls, sending emails, and writing letters, but I see no way to stop this train. I will have to get my little bit of satisfaction by eventually voting against my Texas Republican Senators if they support this bill. I will never vote for a Democrat, but I’ll vote for some third-party yahoo or withhold my vote before I’ll vote for any Republican who supports this bill.

All too well....I’m afraid this is yet another tactic to get past the ground swell of opposition.

In a few weeks, they’ll try it again.

Don’t forget most of those fools are heading home for the break...Catch them while they are out and about and tell them exactly what you think of this ‘plan’.
