O.K. folks. It's time for someone, the ilk of Sean Hanity or Michael Savage, to organize a March on Washington by the hardworking, honest Americans who oppose this Amnesty Bill in the Senate.
It will give all the illegals, including the thugs, an exemption from having to pay back taxes. Immigrants who became citizens legally, and all native-born Americans, don't get a pass on paying back taxes.
It's time to march. I'll scrape up the money to go to Washington if someone organizes it.
Unfortunately, as is true of so many right wingers, we have jobs and can’t just “go to Washington” at the drop of a hat. Maybe the lefties can, but I can’t. I have, however, thanks to a Freeper listing tons of email addresses, emailed a couple hundred congressional members and told them what I think of that nonsense.

I suggested that many of us retired conservatives and truckers could move our rigs inside the beltway and strangle the DC area, Capitol Hill and National airport to prevent the Congress criters from moving..but didn’t get much response.
Actually, wasn’t a recent attempt to blockade the beltway with big rigs squashed by procedure?

Truth is, e-mails to politicians are all but ignored. If you want to make an impact, phone or Fax. The rule of thumb is one phone call is worth about 20 faxes or about 100 e-mails.

How about going after the businesses that have asked for this legislation? How about a massive refusal to enter a restaurant, hotel, or pay a penny to a construction company if they are the ones that have lobbied congress for the bill?
A march will be dramatic, but do something with teeth! Help us to revoke the corporation status of the companies that are trying to destroy America with this criminal alien amnesty?
In LA alone, this amnesty will make 30,000 gang members US citizens. Can you say Lebanon anyone?
The amnesty MOCKs the citizen who pays taxes on their wages, it is a MASSIVE tax amnesty for businesses who’ve failed to pay their taxes, FICA and other employment related taxes by hiring criminal aliens.
The amnesty MOCKs the United States Constitution by granting unequal rights for lawbreakers, and penalizes those who follow the law.
This is the MOST CORRUPT CONGRESS and WHITE HOUSE in the entire history of the United States. Demonstrations make for drama on television— but there is no guarantee the news channels will show it. Do something with teeth! Apply the law to the lawbreakers, boycott lawbreaking businesses, revoke their corporate charter and make them pay the taxes they have been avoiding by using illegal aliens in their criminal business enterprises. Then you will see justice. Then you will see America restored.

At the gym I caught the Fox ‘round-table’ with Fred Barnes, Mara Lyeson, Juan, etc. All of them wanted this bill to pass. I was furious. No one cares about the rule of law or our sovereignty.

You are sooo right. This entire bill is a slap in the face of law abiding citzens. We have been demoted it slave staus for the new masters, the mexicans. They get special treatment while we foot the bill, that is what would make us slaves. Slaves of the government, with NO representation AT ALL.
Do something with teeth is right. But what? I understand where you are coming from but the biggest part of the problem is the fact that OUR OWN LAWS ARE NOT ENFORCED!!!
I have thought a planned, agreed to work stoppage would get people’s attention. It is about the only way we can protest the use of the tax money taken from us to pay for all of this. No work, no pay, NO TAXES for the government.
But it would take people getting alot madder than they are now. And it would take sacrifice on the part of those who do it. And there would be a need for a huge ground swell to make it work.
Any other ideas on what else would be effective out there??
