I thought that Sudan had a civil war. Don't the Dems say that it is impossible to win when getting involved in a civil war?

You're right. Both the Democrats and Republicans are selective and hypocritical on the civil wars they want to "manage." A plague on both their houses. Ron Paul is the only consistent candidate who opposes nation building wars whether in Iraq or Darfur.

re: Civil War

Yes, Biden is forgetting the favorite ‘RAT mantra about not intervening in anyone’s civil war..... of course, he (like most Demagogues) cares only for what he thinks sounds good in a soundbite, not about what makes for a rational and yes humane policy. The USA should announce that it us up to the African Union + European Union + United Nations to solve Darfur’s crisis once and for all. Since so many leaders and “journalists” related to those entities love to bash the USA non-stop, let them all show the world what they are capable of achieving together, without us. We have plenty to do with the War on Terrorism and Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Why do we have to be everyone’s savior? Let’s see what the EU + AU + UN can achieve together, oh boy!!
