Depending on what’s found to be the actual cause of the blast, could be somebody’s sending the Turkish govt a message.

“plastic explosives left near bus stops in one of the city’s busiest commercial centers, caused the blast.”

From the Fox News article..."the bomb was made of plastic explosives, the type favored by separatist Kurdish rebels".

It may very well be the Kurdish terrorists, like PKK. This will only increase the pressure on the Turkish military to go after the PKK in Iraq.

Yes, they would be. Kurdish terrorists have been responsible for a number of attacks in Turkey over the past year.

From the foxnews.com article linked to above: "In September, suspected Kurdish rebels set off a bomb at a bus stop in Turkey's largest majority Kurdish city of Diyarbakir, killing 10 people. A month earlier, a hard-line Kurdish militant group claimed responsibility for a bus bombing in the Mediterranean resort of Marmaris that injured 20 people, including 10 Britons."
