Abortionists usually come from the lowest rung of the medical profession: doctors with former revoked licenses, incompetents unable to make a living in any other arena, mentally ill, addicts, the rock bottom of the graduating class, etc.

When they find out they won’t make nearly as much money and they’ll be viewed at the bottom of the profession, betcha they end up not doing this.

Here’s hoping Cirona and Lederer won’t have jobs for very long.

Lord, Please, Keep her out of our state. Currently the abortionist in SD is also doing them in ND and coming from MN to do them.

I see her drive in on the "Killing Days", as the parking lot fills with license plates from SD, NE, WY, IA and MN. Her eyes show her heart is cold and hard.

There have been days in the last month of some sort of meetings there, too, right after the Supreme Court ruling. The meetings brought in a an unmarked van with a camera crew, and vehicles from Wisconsin and Illinois!

Prayer sieges continue til the day the place closes. Bring that day soon, Lord!

My belief is that most women WON’T have abortions if the legal consequences exist.

Based on what? Before abortions were above board, they weren't uncommon. Midwives did then on the QT, and there was no shortage of business.

How do you expect to provide for 100,000+ pregnant women in proison a year? Prison isn’t exactly a good environment for a pregnant woman.

Also, this is a matter of criminal law. So the case goes to court and a jury. What are the chances that at least 1 juror doesn’t think a pregnant woman should go to prison for seeking an abortion? I don;t think, as a practical matter, juries will convict, even if it is against the law. Facts be damned.

As I said before, conservatives often make the case that liberals operate from emotion, while conservatives are more logical minded. This is clearly untrue in the abortion case: pro lifers are driven by emotion more than anything, and don’t even broach many of the practical aspects of their policy ideas.

However, I am not aware of women who had abortions ever being prosecuted.

No, just a legitimate question: do you expect to put in thousands of pregnant women in prison? Does anyone seriously think juries will send women to prison for seeking an abortion? All you need is one pro abortion person in that jury room (and they will sneak in, there are so many of them) that despite the laws you pass, they won’t send women to prison for this, despite the best fantasies of the most emotionally driven pro lifers.

That was my question to those who consider it murder. Do they, or d they not, advocate putting pregnant women in prison for seeking abortions? I’m asking them to flesh out their concept of criminality when it comes to abortion.

Most simply can’t - they haven’t thought it through.

Like I said, there probably won't be "100,000's" of women in prison. Not to sound crass, but once abortion becomes illegal alot of women are going to suddenly "find" the motivation to stop having promiscuious sex.

As to your second question, yes, Jury Nullification is an issue in American courts today. Pro-abortionists can be removed from the potential jury pool, however.

Not to sound realistic, but when we taxpayers are finally fed up with SUBSIDIZING the illegitimate children being produced; THEN these females might tend to keep their legs together if they knew THEY were going to be paying for their 'indiscretions'
