Sheikh Hamid al Hayis, the pro-American leader of the armed wing of an alliance of Sunni tribes, visited supporters of Muqtada al-Sadr in Sadr City May 22 in an effort to reach national reconciliation. “AlSadr followers”
In one place? It sounds like a good time to hit them.
This...could be good news. It’s apparently hard for them to see- but if they’d work together- they might build a country.

Anyway I think loyalists of Moqtada al Sadr should be described as something like “Moqtadists”, since the name “Sadrists” doesn’t refer to him at all, but to his father. As you said there are Sadrists not under his command.
At least Shia and Sunni are now having verbal communications. This would not happened six months ago. The whole idea from day one was for unifying the country. Removing the taboos of meeting with the other major sect. We see progress on the religious/social levels taking place in Iraq.
The press is saying that al-Sadr is probably hiding in Iran.
