Yeah, I’ve been bugging Martinez at his Senate offices as well as the Chairman’s office at the RNC. I think he’s immoveable, though!

You just know the DNC is gonna save that photo of the GA senators for next years GA Senate election versus Chambliss.

I told them that *I* would be picketing Chambliss’ office with a blow up of that pic, with TRAITOR written across it.

Want to apply real heat? Contact Alec Poitevint. He is the State Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party and architect of the Republican takeover of the Governorship and Senate in 2002 And the House in 2004 for the first time since 1870.

All Republicans in Georgia owe allegiance to him including Chambliss and Isakson.

LOL, I get a pretty Christmas card from the Poitevint family every year (Republican mailing list). But it never crossed my mind to call him about this. I think I will tomorrow.

I bet Saxby “my good friend Jack Murtha” Chambliss has never really been booed before. Bet that was a surprise.

The Minute Men picketed in Oconee County this week.

I have yet to come across anyone who likes this shamnesty bill.

Oh, and if this passes as is, or at least with the back-tax-forgiveness in it, I am requesting a refund of all federal taxes I paid for, let’s see, oh, the last 7 years. If they don’t have to pay it, why should I?

There’s my gathering of random thoughts on this issue.

PS - Poitevint shoulda backed Cain, but I guess it was Isakson’s turn. ** eyes rolling **

Keep in mind also the Isakson owes lots to the Carpet industry in Dalton (NW Georgia that probably has more illegals than any other area of Georgia. They even import teachers from Mexico for the public school system that is over 6% illegal. As for Chambliss his allegiance is to the farming communities such as the Vidalia Onion growers and poultry farmers that are heavily dependent on illegals.

Cain ran for the Georgia Senate seat currently occupied by Johnny Isakson (in 2004). He used to be the chairman of Godfathers but retired.

Keep it up ... THE CALLS AND LETTERS ARE WORKING!

They are hearing the anger and know they have stepped in it!

There is absolutely NO GOOD REASON for a Republican to vote for this POS bill, unless they are a 100% sellout.

Cain would have made a great Senator.
Another case of the corporate suit beating an independent-minded true conservative.

I thought these two guys would have enough sense to know that when you step in it, you need to wipe it off your shoe if you expect people to not think it’s you that smells.

Nope, their position is that we are stupid and that the majority of Georgians are behind them.

We’ll see how stupid we are when Chambliss is up for re-election next year. He’ll have to retire to his new Mexican vacation house that he will earn from selling out the United States.

Add my thanks as well. I’ve had the opportunity to sit and talk with Isaakson, and I saw him for what he was. Not only did I vote for Cain, I campaigned for him. I wish we had done a better job now.

My wife and I did, too. His loss was terribly disappointing because he was so right on the issues.
