It's Dennis Miller Time!

I enjoy Laura Ingraham, too, but I don’t know that she streams over the net. Give Dennis a spin on the live thread and let us hear your take. He covers an awful lot of ground from culture to entertainment to sports and politics.

He’s pretty upfront about where he doesn’t tow the party line, but I’ve found also refreshingly respectful of values voters and Christians. He checks staff and guests when they use coarse language or use Christ’s name in vain.

As for the Rudy thing; it’s sort of a mystery to me why so many FReeps get themselves in a snit about the Mayor. I like Rudy for 2 reasons; 1) he fights back, which is something that it seems most Republican representatives are loathe to do. 2) He’s not going to win the GOP’s nomination anyway. So, don’t sweat him. Just smile when he’s talking about supporting our troops and killing terrorists.

That’s what I do. ;0)

I’m listening to today’s archive tonight, to hear myself on the radio (talking about Rosie O’Donnell). I’m “Paulie from Queens.” Got a rise out of Dennis with my remark that Rosie looked “like Death’s rectum” the time I saw her in person.

Great thing about his radio archives is, if you do get on the show, you can download that day’s archive as an mp3 file (and keep it forever), note the time in the show where you called in, edit down clips for playback and sharing, and even transcribe them.

In today’s show, (5/24/07) my comments begin at 29 minutes and 45 seconds.

I did hear the call but I was trying to get my wife and daughter out the door - half tethered to my remote headphones, half helping my wife - I heard the bit about Rosie and “death’s rectum”. That’s cold,...and funny,...and true. I think she’s a very sad person!

He might pump your site a bit. You should see if you can get permission to post the discussion between Drier and MIller on his show with a quid pro quo link to his live stream. I think Gary Sinise talked the bonds up a bit too on his appearance 2 or 3 weeks ago. I think he and Dennis are working on some stuff(events) together this summer maybe you could provide links to them, as well.

Hey Joe! Thanks. I hope it doesn’t descend into that too. Seems every thread turns into a Rudy bash or immigration thread. That’s why I look forward to Dennis’ show and visiting the Canteen. Just good fun!
