Bill Moyers:

Smug, self-satisfied, self-absorbed arrogant snot.

Just like Mario Cuomo. The two of them should do a liberal version of Brokeback Mountain.

(Notice it’s not even necessary to specify “liberal”?)

How and why does someone like Moyers continue to lie to himself (I guess) and the rest of us?

Damn. At first glance it looked like he actually got the picture. Then I fixed the typos:

"...Moyers blasted the "rise of an ideological partisan press that is contemptuous of reality" that "serves up right left-wing propaganda as fact, and attempts to demonize anyone who says otherwise. . . . They actually work to keep reality from us, whether it's . . . the social costs of 'free trade,' growing inequality," or "the devastating onward march of environmental deregulation. It's if we are living on a huge plantation in a story told by the boss man."

I guess that means that the "rise of an ideological partisan press that is contemptuous of reality" and that serves up LEFT-wing propaganda as facts and attempts to demonize anyone who says otherwise, is OK with Mr. Moyers?
