The old fashioned black text works. You’ll find that different people find their own different highlights almost %100 of the time. Just a thought...

If you found a different point within the article to be of greater interest, highlight that yourself.

I did and dually commented on it. I’ve tried to read a few this individual’s posts but the color scheme prevented me doing so. Eye strain.

It does sort of defeat the use of highlighting when almost half the text is highlighted.

And it must be distracting. You’ll note that most of the comments thus far deal with formatting, rather that the substance of the article.
