I think that she is “circling the drain” with these fits and attacks that occur at the slighest provocation. Or it is just that her view of the world is so fragile that the smallest challenge to her point of view shakes her to the core. A “Stalinist” paranoid behavior.

- Today’s news has it that O’Donnell has decided to quit the TV show effectively immediately rather than the previously announced June 30. I take this to mean that she is closer to the edge than previously suspected and she has probably done so on the advice of her shrink.
