Why can’t we just call them Burma to annoy them in the meantime?

We are just sounding a call from Asia for America to WAKE UP.

Other calls from Asia were issued in the past. Read our history. And America, though great as it was and is, WOKE UP WAY TOO LATE.

Hi guy,

Is that photo of a missile in the No Dong series? It looks like a cruise missile, something new?

You (ExSoldier) replied:
"I don't get it. Explain for this poor brain dead high school government teacher at the end of another tough year in the inner city?"

Expatguy said that Iran is building nukes. I was thinking the same, given that Iran recently conducted new missile tests with Korean missiles (possible ~4000 kilometer range) and refused to allow the IAEA to look at a heavy water facility (links earlier in the thread). Iranian engineers were publicly reported to have been in North Korea's missile tests (or was that the nuke test?) a few months ago.

I mentioned "boob tube propagandists," because news (opinion) reporters have been leaning toward broadcasting for general complacency effect. They often present Iran as being too backward or too involved in intra-Islamic conflicts (e.g., Shiite v. Sunni) to develop nuclear weapons or cause much trouble in Iraq (though Iran has been training Sunnis). There's also the contrived misconception that Iran would be nice, if only bad, old Ahmadinejad were put down. ...and other convincing political speech methods.

Advertising sponsors and others are afraid that prices will go up (especially due to freight fuel price hikes). They know that if War occurs with Iran, that prices will go up steeply in the short term (year or two). They don't want to care about the possibility that prices could go much higher a little later for a much longer duration, if we avoid conflict with Iran for long.

...only a few of the considerations.

America always wakes up late......
America is always slow to react....
America wouldn't be America if she didn't behave as such... but never mind....America is a paper tiger after all.
America is too weak to defend herself or her allies...
it is a dark day....a dark day ......sigh....
and another move on the chessboard takes place......
hope for the best, prepare for the worst.....
is what I believe to be the message.....
though I've been wrong before.....
paper tiger, yep, that's America.....

What would it take to turn Pyongyang into a smoldering pile of radioactive rubble?

You're exactly right, American In Tokyo.

North Korea test launches short-range missiles in apparent response to South's destroyer

"Analysts and media reports said the North's test was in response to South Korea's launch of its first destroyer equipped with high-tech Aegis radar technology on Friday. South Korea is now one of only five countries armed with the technology, which will make it easier to track and shoot down North Korean aircraft and missiles."

We need to go on record....publicly.....in support of Japan developing nukes. And when China howls in protest we tell them.....publicly....that the moment they get their wayward little punk kid in line,ONCE AND FOR ALL,we'll withdraw our support for Japanese nukes.

But not a moment before.

Yah,I'm sure that that will help the Japanese sleep well at night. And IIRC,the kidnapping of innocent Japanese civilians was "routine" too.
