"No other institution in our society enjoys the deference that the military establishment enjoys," he said.

No other institution in society has as much of their blood spilt to preserve the rights of rodents like Bergstein to act like idiots.

And, guess what, most factories, business establishments and other non-military institutions have rules as to who can and can't come on their property and rules to govern the behavior of those who are so admitted.

Wrong. The media can get away with liable, theft and treason, and no one is held accountable.

So??? Let the A$$holes paddle up and down the Hudson River which runs right past West Point. They could holler their slogans, fly banners between rowboats, stage “drown-in” demonstrations by jumping overboard (preferably without life preservers), go down with sinking canoes, do Benedict Arnold re-creations (very appropriate for the location), and walk planks. Should do lots of good. Pitiful jerks.

Bergstein is a professional America hater

This protest has its own website

WEST POINT UPDATE: 1) Orange County peace groups are bringing a legal challenge to secure the public’s right to march through Thayer Gate and onto the grounds of the West Point Military Academy itself to protest Vice President Dick Cheney’s graduation-day speech on Saturday May 26. Yesterday, the court held a hearing and heard arguments from both peace groups and West Point’s lawyers about the case. For details, see the articles below. 2) Regardless of whether our side wins this case, it is crucial that as many people as possible gather in Highland Falls on Sat May 26 beginning at 8:30 AM to protest Cheney’s speech. We will march to Thayer Gate even if we can’t march through it. This is a critical turning point in the war, as the Congress considers limits on the administration’s warmaking powers and funding, and the public increasingly opposes the continued occupation. Please join this march in force, and spread the world to your friends and community organizations. Please forward this email to others you know who may be interested. Logistical information follows below and is available online from www.westpointrally.org and www.NoWarWestchester.org
