The solution is to convince Americans the politicans are trying to destroy the Constitution and our political system to increase their power. That’s the point of this article. If Americans understand this — and I think they are beginning to — they will openly revolt and take direct action against politicans. Adept politicians could ride the coattails of this discontent to put a lid on this mindless pro-immigration consensus that rules in Washington, D.C., fast becoming a corrupt Third World bastion of elites, who looking down on the masses of people, especially white Americans, and their views.

This is perhaps from the Ron Paul School of (Constitutional) Terrestrial/ Extraterrestrial Studies???

OCCAM’S RAZOR: One should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.

i’ve thought for several decades that by american decision makers

was made in 1965 with the immigration bill. ted kennedy was instrumental.

demographers knew then that the u.s. birth rate would drop below replacement, and it did in the seventies.

then, in the early eighties burger flippers, landscapers, and maids appeared.

meanwhile, the reagan administration feared a mexican revolution, or at least severe “civil unrest”, and busy with the contra wars, saw mexican emigration as letting steam off the boiling pot.

Have veterans and Iraq war veterans very visible and have them getting arrested

I'm sure you'll think me horrid for saying this, but, I'd add weeping women who've lost loved ones due to the pro illegal stance of Bush, Kennedy and the rest.

Unf-ing believable. Paul Gigot is an a**shole of the first magnitude. He claims that it’s all cultural and that Hispanics demographics will playout the same no matter whether or not the bill passes. Only John Fund pointed out the assimilation issues a “partial” point. They still don’t get that a new bill will only encourage more illegal immigration. They cannot comprehend that point. They are as dense as any group of no-nothings from the 19th century. They are like dinosaurs watching a meteor fall onto the earth. Good grief. The only good thing is that I saw in the video is that they do not think the bill can be salvaged and will go down to defeat. They are staking their hopes on a replacement bill that is scaled back. I can’t believe these people are as willfully blind as they are. They simply cannot understand why enforcement is necessary. Dim, dim, dim light bulbs one and all.

“Video: WSJ editorial board gleefully slanders conservatives”

Thanks for posting, especially from another forum with all the comments.
(I only have dial-up at home so I can’t watch the actual video).

Those posted comments ring true.
My parents ended their decades-long subscription to the WSJ last year,
due to the WSJ’s Illegal Immigrant pandering.

I can’t wait for Rupert Murdoch to take over and re-engineer the WSJ
so it reflects Big Business AND The Stockholders of America once again.

When and if Murdoch takes over, I expect one protracted “Night of
The Long Knifes” for some of the more pompous A$$e$ at the WSJ.

Thanks for watching video of these free market extremist at the Wall Street Journal. I’ll bet their office building has very good security and they live in safe neighborhoods. Maybe even guarded/gated ones.

They are more libertarian than conservative. Their idea of the US market is to open it up to the world. To anyone who wants to come here and work in our labor markets. To any country that wants to send it’s low priced crap here (China) and put US workers out of jobs. These are rootless cosmopolitans, not Americans. The “free market” is their god. They say we are nativists who don’t like Hispanics and their culture. I didn’t see any Hispanics in their editorial meeting. Just a bunch of smug forty something white boys. One woman for window dressing and a black fellow who looked like he was brought up from receiving

Dan Henninger is infamous. He was there and said the line about what the anti amnesty people leave unspoken. THat they dislke the Hispanic culutre

I've been amazed at how ready the pro-amnesty types have been to impute the most vile, vicious motives to their opponents.

Have you read the Linda Chavez article? It starts out, "Some people just don't like Mexicans -- or anyone else from south of the border." (WHOLE ARTICLE HERE.

Yesterday on Laura Ingraham's show she actually asserted that opponents of amnesty are "in bed" with population controllers like Planned Parenthood (It was that weird). I mean, I am amazed at how compulsively Chavez, WSJ, et al., are tarring everyone who disagrees with them with the racism brush.

The proponent of amnesty will have a lot of fences to mend when this is over. They're practicing psychological warfare on their own people. They've truely stabbed their own in the back, attributing the worst motives to those who express principled opposition. Truly vile tactics, as race-baiting as Sharpton and Jackson.

She, meaning Chavez, not Laura of course.

NO!!!

You claim “cheap labor” as REASON for the amnesty and pro-bring-in-all-their-families PROMOTIONS within the Bush-Kennedy-McCain pro-Mexican law, but think abiout it: Cheap Labor is ONLY possible when the laborers are intimidated and available for cheap wages.

See, AS SOON SA the Mexican illegal alien becomes legal (the day after the law passes!) he has no reason to work any cheaper than any American citizen.

in fact, those millions of “cheap labor” illegal aliens have EVERY REASON in the world (revenge!) to bring their previous employers to the unions, to the government, to the IRS, and to the state and local hiring Dept of Labor to FINE the (formerly) cheap employers for back Social Security, back taxes, back health insurance, back unemployment insurance, and back wages as they DEMAND immediate minimum (Maximum!) wages for working the next day.

And, the day after the Bush-Kennedy-McCain illegal immigration promotion act passes, NONE of the current illegal aliens have ANY reason to work. They can sit down, bring in their families, and call for welfare.

Statement: "Immigration and Usurpation - Real reason why your Senator wants this immigration amnesty bill"

Response; The "real reason" quite simply is the unfit nature of the vice addicted imbeciles allowed to hold public office. The sum total of their lives(Yes Winona, there are a few exceptions)can be summed up as: eating, drinking, copulating, evacuating their bowels and snoring.

Yet today these immigrants and their descendants are fully Americanized. Could we expect the same from Mexicans? Or do the sheer numbers and the presence of the anti-American radical left tip the balance away from viewing past assimilation of mass immigration waves prescient for our current problem?

No, (1) the culture is being (deliberately) RETAINED as a sign of pride in “La Raza” by the illegals (partially because 80+% of the CURRENT batch of illegals RETURN HOME after 9 months after they’ve earned a five year’s (untaxed!)salary in the US. So the CURRENT illegals DON’T feel any reason to assimilate here - they KNOW they are going to return home, and their loyalty is AT HOME.

(2) the racism and political leadership (and education elites) here allow (encourage!) the Mexicans to stay isolated in their easily-controlled political (democrat-congressional-districts!) reservations of low-income voters.

the democrats gain 10-25 House Representatives FROM the GOP BECAUSE of the illegal “bodies” in democrat House districts gained by COUTNING illegals - even if the illegals don’t vote (and some do/many do!/all are encouraged to vote!) they ARE STILL COUNTED for House populations.

So democrats gain population in democrat areas, and repubbies (in other areas) are counted out - diluted - by the illegal populations. That too is why the illegal promotes WANT FAMILIES to come in. More people to count for the 2010 census!
