I am fairly young to have arthritis, there are days I would give anything to use one and probably should. I have given up shopping malls and big stores due to pain. I am sure that I look way to young to be on those kinds of things. The day I cave in and use one I am sure someone will say much the same about me.
I made the mistake one time about complaining to a guy who parked in a handicapped parking space that it was for people who needed it and he should not be parking there. He said that he thought his artificial leg gave him the right to park there. Was I embarrassed. He did not limp or show any sign of his handicap. However, that said. I have watched people get in the chairs go around the building and then get out and walk to their cars fine. Lazy is all they were.
