Excessive speed gave the driver a false impression of how fast she was going? The faster you go, the slower it seems? Anyone give this Detective a breath test before letting him make this pronouncement?

Once you have increased speed to whatever level, you become used to it. It doesn’t seem as fast as it was when you first attained that speed.
