Saw the flooding in Killeen on Fox this morning. I can believe it because our yard was a lake. Thankfully, it soon ran off. The rain was coming in sideway sheets against our house. They must have a dam open because the river is down so they’re expecting some more flooding from run-offs.

I have not seen Belton Lake, but from my view out the window here at home, Lake Travis is really up! It was less than 2months ago that the lake was down MORE THAN 60 FEET! It looked terrible--little and not so little "islands" appeared everywhere.

It looks like our long drought is over --LOL!

Our ranch on the Lampassas river has gotten so much rain that the Lampassas river is no longer just a trickle--it is a fast flowing river that is now higher than it has been in years.

We've still got rain in the forecast for the next 10 days. Enough, already!!!
