Some amendments discussed on the floor are not listed. I don't know if the reason is that are not "officially" in the system. Important ones that I know something about are are 1153, 1169, 1158, 1181, 1190, and the most important one, 1157, which would have stripped out the entire Z-Visa abomination.

1190 (McCain) is also interesting. The blurb says it would require illegals to pay back taxes, but I'm not sure about whether it has any teeth. This may be a bone that McCain is throwing to infuriated constituents, or maybe he is smart enough to know that the tax amnesty is causing a lot of opposition.

McCrazy is talking out of both sides of his mouth, so it’s a bone.

He gave a floor speech yesterday and for a few minutes it sounded like he’d come to hs senses. Then he turned 180 degrees with “last chance”, “no other chance”, “best of bad situation”, etc. He was getting a bit agitated and I knew that the McCrazy we’ve come to know and love would not let us down.

That’s why we call him McCrazy.
