The more the public knows about this bill, the less they support it. It's Memorial Day weekend, many of these Senators are home and getting bitched out. Good.

Ted “Water Wings” Kennedy also said in 1965 the immigration bill he championed in the Senate would lead to reduced immigration. He wrong then and wrong now. It is time to pack it in Ted and head back to old Mass. I hope the door hits you on the way out, and oh, watch out for those rickety bridges on the way to Cape Cod.

I have a feeling it will pass. The Open Borders Lobby is powerful and there are vested interests behind the bill. For the Democrats, its about new voters; for the GOP, its about cheap labor. Screw the American people.

Martinez is home but he doesn't go anywhere anyone would criticize his position on the plan.
He's revealed to everyone that he is not just a moral and ethical coward (we all knew that) but also a political coward.

Many people in the United States are against the immigration reform proposal developed by their federal lawmakers, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 48 per cent of respondents oppose the plan, while 26 per cent are in favour...so much for the Senator (I forget which) who disdainfully dismissed those who didn't like the bill as "the noisy but small minority who disagree with us".......

Please look at what giving amnesty to as many as 20,000,000 illegal alien foreign nationals actually represents. More than the population of 16 states and DC!
According to the 2000 census, 18,785,867 is the total populations combined of Wyoming, Dist. of Columbia, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana, Rhode Island, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Maine, Idaho, Nebraska, West Virginia, New Mexico and Nevada.
THINK about that.
