I can’t think of a better way to spend Memorial Day than fishing with my father-in-law. He was a Navy Corpsman in Korea, and this will likely be his last Memorial Day with us. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who have served our nation on the field of battle.

For my PricewaterhouseCoopers colleagues who died September 11 2001: I shall never forget, neither shall I forgive what was done to you and your families. It could have been any of us. On 9/11 the enemy declared war on ordinary working folk. This will prove to be their undoing.
