1.The conservative base hates your guts even though you have a former excellent conservative record
2.You have no chance of winning a primary or the POTUS
3.You are embarrassing yourself
4.You are too old
Having said all that, McCain in fact is one of the most powerful Senators today and could if he wanted to become a Reagan like beloved conservative leader if he just humbled himself and take up the mantle of conservatism to fight the good fight against extreme liberalism and the moonbats
