This is part of the preparation for the next Canadian Forces rotation to Afghanistan to take place in August, wherein a battle group of le Royal 22e Régiment (the Vandoos) will rotate in and the currently deployed battle group of the Royal Canadian Regiment (the RCRs) will rotate out.
