I clearly don’t understand the legislative process. I thought they had to have committee hearings on legislation before the full house or full Senate vote. Why aren’t members who are skeptical about this bill, demanding committee hearings?
According to the 2000 census, 18,785,867 is the total populations combined of Wyoming, Dist. of Columbia, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana, Rhode Island, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Maine, Idaho, Nebraska, West Virginia, New Mexico and Nevada.

Yes, it’s pretty incredible that this is even a potential law at all.

The 12th graders will have spent 12 years of ‘education’ and will have precious little clue of what those concepts mean in reality. only some will have a surface understanding, but most will be brainwashed to have a completely different conception of what Government is all about.

Unfortunately I believe both of you are correct.
It would seem our youth are striving not for knowledge and wisdom anymore.
It would seem like the people of these united states are cheerfully jumping into the hand basket of ignorance and enjoying the ride down to destruction. Wait until it hits bottom and the reality of the ride finally hits home, by then it'll be too late.
