Another 'home town' grocery store honoring our troops with their flyers for Memorial Day. I love seeing this! Wish it was like this with the MSM.

That’s balanced. They included the Heinz ketchup on the cover as a rebuttal from John Kerry.

My Kroger actually had a support the troops table set up awhile back where you could donate. I just wish they’d get rid of the Cinco de Mayo and Kwanzaa circulars.

Thats really nice, as long is were on the subject of Lib companies doing good I’ll share a story. A woman I know who works for Costco just found her son dying of a self inflicted gunshot wound to his head on May 14. (her husband went out the same way 15 years earlier) the son was pronounced brain dead on the 15th and removed from the respirator. Costco was so horrified by this they granted her paid leave till August and they catered the funeral reception for free and delivered new furniture for free and will send a truck with food every week for the family till she returns.

Wow. Prayers for that woman in her grief. And kudos to Costco for doing the right thing. This is what made America strong...taking care of each other, not taking care of ourselves!

In the eyes of the mainstream media, only themselves can be heroes.
Everybody else in the world, just showed up to watch them receive the Pulitzer prize.

lol. Dang you just notice everything. I thought it was a very nice gesture and you had to ruin it.

I have shopped at Kroger for over 40 years, since I was six years old. Before that, my dad (the Doctor) got his first job there back in the 50’s, stocking shelves. Their attitude in this regard hasn’t changed in all that time.

Good for Costco. May God surround the woman with His love and comfort.

I just came back from shopping at the local WalMart Super Center. The music over the instore speakers was Stars and Strips Forever. The area near the video games, TVs, and cell phones had some girl group’s recorded song, “I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free,” whatever the name of that is.
