Same here - an Episcopal Church in Alexandria, VA. I still have my confirmation prayer book - the 1928 version (that's not the year I was confirmed). We children learned to sing under Mrs. Adams, who was a termangent and a martinet, drilled us for three hours every Saturday morning, and we worshipped the ground she walked on. I looked my old church up on the internet and was was brokenhearted. I tried a little Anglican community here but it has issues. I an unchurched.

I was in the same boat -- sixth-generation Episcopalian (if you don't count a Methodist or two who married in), our choirmaster was Mr. Thomas Micajah Brumby (God rest his soul), tough as nails but a fine musician who laid the foundation of my musical education.

This ECUSA diocese was one of the first to run completely off the rails. We were o.k. in a parish with an older priest until he retired and the new guy turned out to be a screaming rainbow loon.

We have, however, found an excellent refuge in a very orthodox and traditional Catholic parish. I was afraid the music would be awful, but a new choirmaster has turned out to be the Real Deal. The theology is not what they used to tell us in Sunday School (what people outside the Church think about Catholic theology is quite different from what it really is). And as a bonus we get Adult Leadership.

“I an unchurched.”

So am I, as the former warden of the oldest church in west Tennessee, but it is all gone with the wind.
I loved the old churches from Virgina to South Carolina.
I hate to see them go.
