German environment minister Sigmar Gabriel (SPD) sharply attacked the US-government because of its behaviour in the climate politics shortly before the G8-Gipfel. In the "Saarbrücker newspaper" (Tuesday edition), Gabriel confirmed that the USA blocks the German design of a termination explanation previously.

The minister gave notice on to hold " the debatable points " if needed open until the conversations in Heilendam. Then the heads of state and heads of the government themselves would have to confess. "If they really want to block, it must become clear, who carries the the responsibility. Gabriel named the climate change a "dramatic danger" for the humanity. "Diplomatic language regulations, that glue up the reality and bring nothing forwards, make, no sense".

If in Heilendam no breakthrough would succeed, the summit has yet an important psychological effect: "Even if the Americans block concrete steps, the worldwide pressure on them and the other, that go with them in the convoy, will become, enormously large." The coming presidential election in the USA in sight, Gabriel said: "It's unacceptable if there is a breakthrough first after here is an administration that doesn't understands itself so strongly as an interests representative of the oil industry.

China will have more total emissions in 3 years than the US does now. And we are headed down, they are going the other way. What will the wackos say then?

The wackos will do what they always do and blame the US.

It’s not that hard to predict!

For example, if China is putting out 3x the US emissions, then they will say that the US import volume from China is to blame for the emissions in China.

See how easy that is?

“German minister for enviroment attacks USA sharply”

- Zzzzzzzz...

In Europe of today, it is rapidly becoming unfashionable to attack the US. It has always been inappropriate.

The US is not one of our colonies.

It ought to be remembered they have saved us in two world wars.

We Europeans ought to adjust our attitudes towards the Americans.

They are true friends of civilization and they ought to be honored.

Western Civilization will be better off united.
