This Memorial Day, we must do more than just remember the fallen. We must dedicate ourselves to sharing their sacrifice. Let us find the moral courage to match their physical courage. Let us re-dedicate ourselves to the principles for which our country stands.

This sow has a lot of damn gall to write something like this. She is about as anti-American as they come and recently voted against funding for the war. I'd move to that district just to vote against her but I guess I'd better stay home and vote against my own traitorous sob congresscritter who voted the same way but at least had the good sense to keep his stupid mouth shut on Memorial Day.

Did you read the article? Here is another excerpt. Remember that she just recently voted AGAINST funding.

"But they also deserve the resources they need. If we truly honor our soldiers and veterans, we must honor our commitments to them and to their families."

She is a hypocrite of the highest order.

If she’s gonna quote Lincoln, she should at least quote the whole paragraph:

“With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation’s wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations.

Let us indeed “strive on to finish the work we are in,” “with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right.”

I’ll buy that. I doubt she will.

actually to me....Puritan Yankees with their condescension and arrogance and sanctimonious self righteousness dovetail nicely with PC lib do-gooders.

note even the Hester Prynne docked hair, lack of make-up and religious toned collar

when I see this in nashville, I know what to expect.
