That used to be known as having good manners, but we don't have manners anymore do we?

What you call good manners I call political correctness. If Hillary engaged me in a restaurant I wouldn’t hold back.

I’m all for honesty but I agree manners are important and it seems we don’t have manners anymore, or we don’t value manners anymore. I still value them and teach my children the importance of manners.

I don’t agree with all this self censorship we seem to practice in the extreme, as the poster stated. But there’s a way of being honest while also being polite. I had to practice this recently when my formerly conservative town went liberal by electing camden dem machine politicians - they came to my door and I was hospitable, “bit my tongue til it bled” but listened and shook hands. I was honest without being rude, in my mind.
