I love Venezuela, but my experience with Venezolanos is that they hide their heads in the sand while this sort of thing goes on, then bang on pots and pans in protest instead of dealing with losers like this (and Perez Jimenez years ago) early and firmly. May be too little, too late - and a cryin’ shame. What a beautiful place!
