You may be correct. Bush maybe came to this view by his lonesome but Rove is the numero one cheerleader. Some of the most insulting rhetoric comes from him.

It's not just them, it's the upper echelons of the GOP in general that need to be held accountable (i.e. booted out of office if they run for any elections).

The scary thing is, many of us will hold back our money and our votes, and the GOP will, instead of getting the message, decide they need to move more to the left, to pull in more voters who support their aims...

It is the conservatives that are being dumped from the Party. Why? Because we won’t stand for policies like this amnesty. The country club Republicans want the Party back so they can have their unified North American economy. Conservatives were good for the Party but now are in the way.

Chances that we’ll start a viable 3rd party-—remote. Chances that the Republicans will eventually come back from minority status as a me-too party-—actually pretty good.

It’s the only explanation for these outrages.
