> Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton outlined a
> broad economic vision Tuesday,

Her collectivist vision is my worst nightmare. I would be better off in Brazil, where we can still worship Christ freely.

> saying it’s time to replace an “on your own” society with
> one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.

Spoken like a true Marxist, and without shame.

Basically it means, you get to live a lowest common denominator lifestyle while the party elite live large.

> The Democratic senator

She is NOT Democratic. She is Democrat. BIG difference.

> said what the Bush administration touts as an “ownership
> society” really is an “on your own” society

What am I missing here? “On your own” is what made this country GREAT! You don’t have to look far to see what happens to countries that implement a Marxist vision.

Like Cuba.

> that has widened the gap between rich and poor.

The class card.

I don’t see the Klintons giving any of their money away.

> “I prefer a ‘we’re all in it together’ society,”

This from a leader of what is probably the most divisive political party in American history.

“We’re all in it together” means that she will force you at gunpoint to share the fruits of your labor with the ne’er do well bum down the street while she and her family continue to live large.

> “I believe our government can once again work for all
> Americans.

Read your Constitution HAG. The federal government was never meant to be a Nanny.

> It can promote the great American tradition of
> opportunity for all and special privileges for none.”

Unabashed Marxist appeal to the thief in everyone.

Are there really any grownups left that still believe this stuff?

> That means pairing growth with fairness

Yes, all Marxists hide their totalitarian collectivist goals behind making things “fair”.

Maybe somebody should tell this economics maven that Growth IS fairness! That’s why my parents came to America! They knew all about a government-imposed “fairness”. They came here to GET AWAY from that!

> she said, to ensure that the middle-class succeeds in the
> global economy, not just corporate CEOs.

Just in case she hasn’t been paying attention, unless the corporations and their CEOs succeed, there’s NO CHANCE that the “middle class” can succeed, or even exist!

> “There is no greater force for economic growth than free
> markets.

Astonishing statement from a committed collectivist. There has to be a catch somewhere else ...

> But markets work best with rules that promote
> our values, protect our workers and give all people a
> chance to succeed,” she said.

I just KNEW there’d be a catch.

Look. My parents came from a hardscrabble catch-as-catch can survival-of-the-fittest struggle they call “life” in other parts of the world. They worked hard, lived the American dream, and in one generation were able to send their children to American colleges.

There is no better chance to succeed than the economy we have right now. Tampering with that to implement some Marxist dystopian ideal of “fairness” is an invitation to DISASTER.

But then again, disaster might be what she wants.

For you and me, anyway, certainly not for her.

> “Fairness doesn’t just happen. It requires the right
> government policies.”

Oh please.

Just have a look at what “diversity” and the “war on poverty” have done for “fairness”. We’ve spent TRILLIONS of dollars only to see things become orders of magnitude worse now than they were before these “government policies” were implemented.

> Clinton spoke at the Manchester School of Technology,
> which trains high school students for careers in the
> construction, automotive, graphic arts and other
> industries.

I live in New Hampshire. These students were probably ramped off that they had to sit and listen to this socialist cow tell them how she was going to take their hard-earned money and give it to the drunken bum next door, while they could have been out apprenticing for real money.

> “We have sent a message to our young people that if you
> don’t go to college ... that you’re thought less of in
> America. We have to stop this,” she said. “Our country
> cannot run without the people who have the skills that
> are taught in this school.”

Ted Knight said pretty much the same thing in “Caddy Shack” when he said, “The world needs ditch diggers, too.”

Oh, thank God and thank you! I KNEW I had read it earlier on FR.

But this needs to be posted and reposted and hopefully put in a permanet sidebar position. Is that possible?

I do believe this is her FIRST open profession of Marxism/Communism (in length - not just "We are going to take from you....) that I have read in all the years of following this Stalinist/Maoist/Marxist/Hitlerist wannabe. To think that this nation is on the brink of putting Hitlery and her fellow thug mafia communists into full power.....it is the unthinkable.

Wake up you nitwit econuts!

Wake up you companies who are doing business with this thug! Don't you know she will turn on you and destroy you in a moment?

Wake up you Media Idiots who have sold your soul to her heinous! Don't you know that like Chavez, she will stomp your pompous freedom into the ground?

Wake up you elitst academiacs - don't you know the intellectuals are the first to be crushed????

What idiots!!!!! What stupid fools! What ideal comrades!
