The Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks from the 1917 Russian Revolution were both communists. They just believed in different means to establish the supremacy of the state.
I think the Bolsheviks are similar to the current democrat party and the way things are going, the Mensheviks are current republican party.

I'm about as hardcore, deadset, God-rejecting atheist as you can get...and I ain't no damn commie!
You might be right talking about the rest of the world but this is America, a lot of atheists here are libertarians and, like me, Objectivists.
