Fred’s a breath of fresh air. Especially compared to:
-A cross-dressing liberal
-An insane man who was once a hero
-A flip-flopping guy from Massachusetts who sounds and looks good but that’s about it
-A protectionist, pork-barrel spending Buchananite
-A formerly good Senator who went soft on defense
-A pot-smoking libertarian whack job
-A great conservative who has ruined his self image by coming across as a one-trick pony with foot-in-mouth disease who blames EVERYTHING on illegal immigrants
Agreed on all points. MY point was that the early start to all this election jazz has many of us weary already, and I’ve never been a big fan of announcing that an announcement will be forthcoming when everybody knows already what the announcement will be. Seems a little silly. I’m not adverse to a Thompson/Hunter ticket - in fact, I think it would breathe some fresh air into the stagnating crowd of candidates.
