This will be a bit different in that the funding for the war will need to be renewed in September, so the stage is really set for them to do their thing. Although I must admit I don’t know how they will be able to present a more negative view of the war than they have been for the last three years. I play a little game as I peruse the FR postings. As soon as I see a positive, or at least not overtly negative, story about the war in Iraq I look to see whose story it is, MSM or one of the news services that work directly with the military. You can bet your bippy if the story has anything but the most negative information that it is not a wire story from the MSM.

This is going to be a very frustrating period as our guys and gals struggle to do what they do so well and the MSM struggles to do what it does so well. We need to gird ourselves for the battle and it won’t be pretty.

Batten down the hatches, there’s rough seas ahead!

The President last week received a check for 100 billions dollars for the war. The war in Iraq cost 2 billion a week so this funding will last for another 50 weeks.
