We lasted 7 years with Bush mispronouncing every other word,

This is such an exaggeration. Though I cringe every time he says noo-koo-lar, I understand that is an accepted pronunciation in the south. No less than Jimmy Carter, a nuclear power Navy vet, says it the exact same way and it was never a problem for him. I wonder why? /s.

If you listen to an entire speech or news conference, GWB seldom mispronounces anything else...definitely no more often than other TV person who speaks for 20 or so straight minutes. When the only thing people hear is the sound bite of a mistake played over and over like a drumbeat, the impression is made that he mispronounces lots of words.

He does make errors on subject verb agreement, though the rest of his sentences could probably even be diagrammed correctly. This is in contrast to the many media people, whose very business is words, who say: Me and Susie are going down the street...Give the ball to him and I...Where are you going at...and I could of done it..... to name just a few errors that W never makes.

I enjoy listening to President Bush speak. After two terms of Slick and his lovely wife, it is still quite refreshing to hear an honest man.
