Jorge, Laura and his dog can go to Mexico, we don’t want them back in Texas.

Hey get a grip and enjoy the ride

lady...I have a grip....the ride? What the hell are you talking about, the ride?

While you were being happy, Bush lost the House, Senate and I pray the people don't hold the entire party responsible regarding the Presidency....

I fear for my children and grandchildren....

I want Bush to succeed, but he doesn't seem to even understand the current immigration bill or sadly he is being completely dishonest.

Peel back the onion, and this is what we find as the goal of both the RINO and Rat party elites.

"Building a North American Community" by the Council on Foreign Relations.

I seriously doubt that you understand it better than Bush. You sound like a hysterical old lady. Maybe you should just watch soap opera and leave politics to people who get it. By the ride I am talking about the give and take of politics between the public and the Congress and President. We are a long way from having a law.

You sound like a hysterical old lady.

ahhhh...I seem to have hit a nerve...

You being from Omaha apparently can't grasp the fact that some of us pick up dirty diapers and other trash and suffer tresspassers and theft by the "illegals" invading or country. This is a very serious issue with those of us on the border.

We are a long way from having a law

Yes we are and I plan to keep it that way. All we ask is that the current laws be enforced.

BTW...you say you are a professor...maybe Ward Churchill is your buddy?

If GW keeps pushing this amnesty and does end up signing it, George W Bush of The Great Invasion will have succeeded in replacing Jimmy Carter as the worst president in history.

I have been of the opinion since about six months into his second term that it was going to be a disaster. Everything he did smacked of arrogance and tone deafness. He just seemed to be focused on all the wrong issues and had a "screw you" attitude towards his own base. Illegals, Harriet Miers, Dubai, the list is long. Couple with his total unwillingness to defend himself or anyone in his adminstration while allowing corruption in democrats to go unchallenged and more or less ignored (Sandy Burglar?) And then he lost both houses of congres but came out saying that there were good aspects, he'd finally get that crummy immigration thing passed that his own base and party was opposed to! Yes, his second term has been an unmitigated mess.

But his first term had some good aspects. Tax cuts were good, strong and unwavering response to islamic jihadism was good. Most other things were bad, but those two were really important. So he beats carter because he was actually good on a couple of important issues. If you took away his second term, any comparison to Carter would be laughable. The fact that it is being made seriously now shows you just how atrocious this mans second term has been.

ClairSolt said: “Well, Bush doesn’t shrink from challenges. Look for him to attack Social Security reform again, soon”

Here’s some ‘Social Security’ reform by George Bush’s white house.

Social Security ‘Totalization’ Agreement with Mexico Would Cost $207 Billion, New Study Says

[snip]- The Social Security “Totalization Agreement” between the U.S. and Mexico, which has already been signed between the two nations and is awaiting the President’s signature, would cost the United States an estimated $207 billion through 2040, according to a new study conducted by TREA Senior Citizens League. The Totalization Agreement could make as many as 1.6 million Mexican workers and dependents eligible for U.S. Social Security benefits by 2040. Dependent family members could be eligible for benefits without having ever worked in — or even having visited — the United States.

What happened to the Bushbots?..

Are they going Hamina hamina hamina like Jackie Gleason after one of his stupid decisions(NO VETOS) -OR- like Norton doing the clearing of the throat and pen holding bit(NO VETOS)????..

George Bush is the democrats secret weapon.. Eight years of "the" Clintons and eigth years of George Bush.. Has increased Socialismn in America greatly.. MORE under George Bush than under the Clintons.. Bush barely won in 2000, 2004 when the republican party was unified(more or less).. Bush has single handily smashed unity in the party like a car windshield to smithereens..

The Great White Hitlery is swimming in the Potomac (Jaws theme)..

I know an elderly old Mexican American who retired to live in Mexico, until SS found out and cut his benefits in half. He moved to FL so he could collect his SS. I think totalization addresses situations like this. but I also know some old American women who are living on SS checks of $450/mo, and the refusal to reform Social Security infuriates me on their behalf.

Whatever happened to your brain? Too much tequilla? Or maybe too much sun? Not only do you have no sense of humor, you don't think straight. You are all attitude and no sense.

If you care so much about the border, then why didn't you do something intelligent about it? Instead you neglected it until the problem spread all the way to Pennsylvania.

I used to live in Omaha, but now I live in Florida. WE have our problems here, second only to CA. I used to be a professor but had nothing in common with Churchill. Only in a very narcissistic topsy turvy world do you think your opinions have any weight, especially when you try to diss me for being a professor.

This debate wasn't supposed to get so heated. When a bipartisan group of senators announced the immigration deal two weeks ago, Democrats and Republicans alike were predicting swift passage, perhaps before Memorial Day weekend. What gives?

Yeah, what's up with these pesky sheeple lately?

Whatever happened to your brain?

Well, I don't actually have to use much of it in a debate with one that lacks logic and facts.

Too much tequilla? Or maybe too much sun?

Interesting...you misspelled Tequila...

What's your pleasure? I bet you are the portly sort controlled by your dark master, the cocoa bean...

Not only do you have no sense of humor, you don't think straight.

So tell me, how does one think "straight"? Does that require a rejection of fact?

You are all attitude and no sense.

Ouch....and you base this on my listing of the facts? You'll have to do better than that! Try harder....

If you care so much about the border, then why didn't you do something intelligent about it? Instead you neglected it until the problem spread all the way to Pennsylvania.

I have always worked for border control....what are you babbling about? Your accusations are downright abusive. You call yourself a professor...sorry that won't fly here....

FLORIDA — I just spoke to a staffer in Bill Nelson’s office. He indicated Nelson was leaning against the amnesty bill in present form. Please call Nelson and tell him you are against the amnesty if you are a Florida resident.1-800-417-7666. (English number)is a great number to use . . . it will direct you straight to your Senators . . . and it is a call paid for by supporters of the bill : )
