The guy is still mesmerized by dialectic rhetoric, thinking that "the best points from both camps" must necessarily be equally good and valid. But reality doesn't work that way. It confronts you with contradictions, rights and wrongs, uncomfortable stuff for this touchy-feely, easy-breezy culture with "nothing to kill or die for" (nothing to live for, either!).
Just take the best stuff from the toilet bowl and add it to the punch, and invite all the moderates to have a slug. None for me, thanks.
