Maybe it is my age (getting on), but I am willing to cut this guy some slack. He is 31, and still feels good. We all know that “youts” don’t quite get that they too are vulnerable.

He truly may not have realized that he was a danger to others until he got to Europe. Then he panicked, and didn’t use his head.

I feel sorry for his bride. What a way to start a marriage!

They say he came back to the US from Canada because he thought he could be seen sooner by doctors.

Doesn’t speak well of national healthscare.

What really ticks me off is the circus surrounding his quarantine. Used to be all communicable diseases were quarantined for the good of the general public. Somehow, in the Sick Sixties, it was decided to let mentally and physically sick people circulate throughout the population to the detriment of everyone. Then AIDS came along and now it’s almost a crime to even think of quarantining anyone. How stupid we’ve become.
