There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

Results are starting to show. I wonder if they'll be heeded by the Republicans in time to avoid this amnesty bill.

I got a call a couple of days ago from the Republican Senate committee and told them to get lost. I don’t know why they called, because I donate to particular politicians, not to the RNC or whatever the senate support group is called.

Fire the messengers, rather than change the program.
There is only one conclusion:
The GOP is dead and waste of time.

I dont know why they called, because I donate to particular politicians, not to the RNC or whatever the senate support group is called. They're resorting to cold-calling registered Republicans, because the house file isn't performing.

For once in my life....I was well ahead of the curve.
I started passing along my dissatisfaction to the RNC/GOP fundraisers
about 2 years ago.
And I know that puts me well behind the folks who really saw this
crap coming many years earlier.

They called here a couple of weeks ago. I told the young man that instead of calling me for money they should be calling the illegals that the RNC prefers over hard working Americans. He said he hears a lot of that.

What about all of those supposed surveys that Dole and Hastert send out quarterly. You know they have to be getting a very large percentage of them back stating such things as not one more dime until you close the borders or stop this amnesty!

You know, after send them a bunch of these in response to their solicitations, I haven't received any requests for donations for quite a while now. Go figure...

It felt great.

All the mail from RNC has been going in the trash here for over two years. There was one poster here who wrote NO AMNESTY in big letters on the donation letters and sent them back. I did the same thing... put the letters in my printer and printed on them in big, black ink (maybe I will use red next time) and put them in the postage-paid envelope and sent them back.
Simply throwing away their mail deprives you of the opportunity to make your voice heard.

“Any assertion that overall donations have gone down is patently false,” Miss Schmitt said.””
Says it all.
Individual contirbution losses outpaced by increased bribe-flows from corporate interests to profit off Bush’s wage depression “growth” policies.
That’s why Kyl, Lott, etc. can hold on to voting their country club received wisdom on immigration and not worry about what the little people think.
