RNC Fires Phone Solicitors [former donors outraged over amnesty]

There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

Results are starting to show. I wonder if they'll be heeded by the Republicans in time to avoid this amnesty bill.

I started passing along my dissatisfaction to the RNC/GOP fundraisers

Well said. I've told the callers several times in the past that I was done donating unless something was done about illegal immigration, long before this amnesty mess came about. Nothing changed, no money.

But now.....

I got an email from D Hunter telling me to support Mel and the RNC. I shot back an response which said “ Stick your amnesty bill where the sun don’t shine and you will never see another Penny from me. I finished it with a Go to Hell Beltway Elites .”

There was one poster here who wrote NO AMNESTY in big letters on the donation letters and sent them back. I did the same thing... put the letters in my printer and printed on them in big, black ink (maybe I will use red next time) and put them in the postage-paid envelope and sent them back.

Simply throwing away their mail deprives you of the opportunity to make your voice heard.
