Cycling is also mostly guys. Look at the results of the Mount Diablo Challenge , which is a simple hill climb that either sex could accomplish. Age 19-29 there are 16 women, and 54 men (1- 3.4). For age 30-39 there are 26 women and 232 men (1- 8.9). The writer of the article has cherry-picked a few activities, and ignored other activities that disproves her thesis.

Wow...sounds like you are really into body image....I suspect you expect the same from women....
