after paying $1,000 fines. A week ago that figure was 5,000.00, but since it is really nothing, and the touch back is for two are three minutes, and both have hardship waivers, it is just BS for the dumb folks.

Actually, all the illegals have to do is register and they get a probationary Z-visa. Court rulings have said that this would give people the expectation of legality and they would therefore have to be treated exactly like American citizens.
I believe there is no fee for registering. And registering is the key. Once you have that, you're here permanently and legally.
