MILWAUKEE - A 5-year veteran of the Milwaukee police force is on suspension and accused of living under a false identity since taking the name of a dead cousin eight years ago.
Federal prosecutors said the identity change by Oscar Ayala-Cornejo was documented in high school yearbooks of 1999: one showed he attended Pulaski High School under his own name before moving to Hamilton High School and attending as Jose A. Morales, the name of his cousin.
A criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court Thursday said Ayala-Cornejo, 24, was born in Mexico and is not a U.S. citizen but his cousin was.
The complaint quotes a brother of the deceased as saying the real Jose Morales died of cancer in Mexico in 1989 or 1990. The brother also is quoted as saying his father offered to give his dead son's identity to Ayala-Cornejo, along with paperwork to back it up.
Ayala-Cornejo was charged with falsely representing himself as U.S. citizen, carrying up to three years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Aaron Goodstein ordered him held in custody until a detention hearing Monday.
Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm said state prosecutors were reviewing the case for possible charges.
The federal complaint said agents learned of the case from an anonymous telephone tip Feb. 20.
WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!
Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti illegal immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them. This is a bipartisan issue not a Conservative or Liberal issue BUT AN AMERICAN issue.
Come on now, he has a hard job. Give him a break. Law enforcement officers do not have to abide by the same laws as us. Did I mention it’s a hard job???
He needs to move to Santa Fe, NM. They are planning to start KNOWINGLY hiring Mexican Nationals.
The next step planned is: For Bill Richardson to disband the NM State Police and sub-contract the job to the Federales de Mexico.
That last part is sarcasm (I think). The first part, is, unfortunately, true.
Does this mean that any convictions resulting from arrests made by this criminal will now be thrown out?
Think of the children.
Exactly what I was thinking. why possible charges? If I get caught speeding, for sure there are charges.. not possible ones...
That way you can get drugs, a hit done, arrested, sprung all by the same organization. Brilliant!
Borrowing identities from friends and relatives is a frequent way that illegals get ids..driver’s licenses(they all look alike). They just get a duplicate license because of a loss..and then switch the guy getting his picture taken.
I’ve seen this technique at both AK and
CA DMV.
Very typical. I know of someone who got a green card, took the identity of a young man that was about to be granted a US visa, but died.
Now he is in the States, a US citizen, and despite never having worked in the USA he gets free medical care, subsidized housing and SS checks every month.
Just think of the repercussions for the guys sitting in jail who were arrested by this guy. Is it legal for a dead guy to arrest someone? Is it legal for someone impersonating a dead guy to arrest someone? Do citizens who received traffic tickets from him get their money back and the points off their licenses?
“The lower middle classes complain most about massive immigration, but then they have to compete with aliens for jobs, often live among them and dont use their services. The wealthier, who hire immigrants for low wages and see them only at work, often think mass immigration, even if illegal, is wonderful.”

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1842983/posts Ah but, just wait until the upper crust has their high dollar gated communities invaded, and their property values start to suffer. It won't be Teddy Kennedy or any other Congress critter that will be held to account it will be George W. Bush because he has been smitten, mislead, and/or deceived by the four basic institutional foundations of our nation. Political, education, economic and religious.
This is beyond belief.
He was found by mis-matched high school photos. What was he doing in a public High-school as an illegal anyway? More local links:

Oh my God!!
He needn’t worry, he’ll get his “Z Visa” soon....
