“Appeal over Jeep used in attack”
“Threats follow attack”
“ Police news briefing”

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Police have appealed for information regarding the vehicle which was used in a terrorist attack at Glasgow Airport.

They want to hear from anyone with information about the green Jeep Cherokee registration number L808 RDT.

Assistant Chief Constable John Malcolm, of Strathclyde Police, said he was keen to know where the car had been in the last few weeks and days.

He also appealed for any photos and videos taken by members of the public during and before the attack.

At a news conference in Glasgow, ACC Malcolm said the suspect being treated in hospital for severe burns was believed to be the driver of the car.

He remains in a critical condition and is under armed police guard at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.

Police have confirmed that a controlled explosion was carried out on a vehicle at the hospital.

I am satisfied that this investigation is progressing dynamically at pace

It has also been revealed that the second suspect being held at Govan police station is aged 27.

Police have confirmed that there was no one else in the Jeep at the time of the attack.

The vehicle has now been removed from the airport and further forensic tests will be carried out.

Anyone with information about the Jeep should contact Strathclyde Police’s incident room on 0800 056 0944.”
