How can the President be serious on WOT with loose borders and illegals aliens running all over the country.
To: ExTexasRedhead
Bottom line is we create 12 million new poor depended and unemployed Americans, because business will find a whole new crop of illegals to exploit with lower wages.
They need to give no reward for crime.
Enforce the border.
Fine the snot out of the employers and move on from there.

Jail time for employing illegals (5 year minimum sentence with no chance of parole), ending birthright citizenship for those in the country illegally (making a separate designation for them in that capacity, in the same way that foreign diplomats have their own designation in that capacity - but without the diplomatic immunity), a $30 billion wall (using the $30 billion American taxpayer "bonus" about to be sent to Africa to
enrich racist dictators fight AIDS), and extreme tightening of standards for the collection of entitlement benefits (which should not even exist, but we aren't arguing that ATM).
Add to that a tit-for-tat immigration scheme (where every illegal found in the US reduces by two the number of legal immigrants that Mexico can send over - lending to the Mexican government a much needed boot to the ass to do its damn side of the job) and that may just be a Grand Immigration Bargain that would simultaneously appease conservatives and not require mass deportation - the illegals would deport themselves once the jobs and entitlement benefits dry up.

"We are witnessing a coup of the transnational power brokers over the American electorate in super slo-mo." You know it.
We ought to burn Washington, DC to the ground. I'm not a subject of any ROYAL class.
String'em up!!

Amnesty is when you let them return home without penalty of law.
This is not amnesty.

(Amnesty is when you allow them to return to their country of origin without prosecution.)

I want to see an Illegal Immigrant Deportation Bill. But we already have it. The lawful remedy for illegal entry is deportation. That's the problem, they're trying to get rid of current law instead of not bothering to enforce it.

I ask to any and all, what is the alternative to this bill? Why, I have no obligation to an illegal. Why do you think amercan's have such an obligation?
Cut off the jobs and their stealing of tax payers money and they will self deport.

“Poor Tony Snow...how can he stand it?”
Tony Snow is probably one of those advising him to do it. He has been one of illegal immigration’s biggest proponents and been most insulting to those who think otherwise. He considers you folks “neo-nativist know-nothings”.

Of course the people won't back that. That's why they don't want you to know about it.
Congress gave the president "fast-track" so that he can negotiate deals without any approval from anyone.
Check out fina-nafi.org
that's just the tip of this iceberg

Thompson might get elected, but every other seat that is Republican will be challenged hard from it’s own base to be defeated.
Not good stuff IMO.

My tin-foil hat is beginning to think that you're on to something.
To: Southerngl
And what would that consequence be? A green card and we'll waive the years they would have had to wait if they'd done it legally. Meanwhile, all the people who are trying to come here legally can wait another 10-15 years.
Some punishment.

If we burn Washington DC to the ground, Bush will just exert his sweeping dictatorial powers in times of “national emergency” noted recently in the news and fill the internment camps constructed by Haliburton with enemies of The State, formerly known as “the base”. Also note the “the base” translates into Arabic as Al-Qaeda. A peculiar coincidence.

Reading the hysterical rhetoric on some of these threads certainly supports his view of the opposition.
