Pulling into port as in out of theater?

I have less of a problem at that point.

Movements in and out of theater let the bad guys narrow down a time to start lobbing mortars at air strips.

It doesn’t have to be classified to be useful.

Home port near Jacksonville, NC.......they are home!

Please, read up on the MEU’s and their roles and goals. What you are reading is an after action report.

MEU’s are sent out every six months. The exact date is not given. Exactly where they are going, like when they will pass through the Suez is not disclosed and what their missions will be are not previewed.
After they are done they give a review.

I would feel the same as you if they were giving out on going mission details. Those going out on MEU’s are very tight lipped on details prior to leaving. My wife and I will see our son off and we don’t even know when that will be, but when we are alerted we’ll head down there.
