I hope people see the rats for what they are: traitorous, gutless scum who have only there own best interests at heart.

I believe one major reason the stock market has been rising so fast is because people in the know know that the war is being won rapidly in Iraq.

Get in the stock market before the news gets out to the masses.

IBD material must be excerpted in all circumstances. Please make a note of it.

I followed the link to read the entire editorial. Thank goodness for IBD. What a disconnect between the actual war and its misrepresentation by our “Representatives” and the great majority of our “reporters.” Scare quotes are intended to convey disdain with extreme prejudice.

Freaking “Copper-Heads” one and all; justly deserving of the same treatment as the “Copper-Heads” from the American Civil War.

Why would you think I'm joking.

Remember, the stock market most often anticipates events.

Bulls are going to run...even further than they have.

IBD is entirely correct, that is what they have concluded and what they are executing. And they are also correct that it will prove a political gold mine in 2008. Slightly later, it will also kill several million human beings. But who cares about little things like that when political careers are at stake?

In the long run, the Dems will find they have no policy whatever to deal with the terrorists, and that the terrorists will not go away for love or money. Then they will have a problem. But although anyone with three working brain cells can see this particular freight train coming, the entire Democratic party only has two, and will waltz right onto the tracks, in a blissful rapture at their political cleverness.

The Democrat party sees this as an opportunity to impliment
draconian security measures that can be used against any internal opposition...

Hardly, that is an absurd bit of paranoia. No, they are just shortsighted and dumb and cannot see past the next election, wish that their policies worked and blame everything wrong in the world on their own lack of power and what they imagine is the cynicism of Republican leaders, etc. They long ago mastered the art of cognitive dissonance as a way of preserving their self-image, and imagine their internal, subjective self-righteousness is virtue incarnate and that anything prompted by it must have only the most beneficial effects.

You don’t have the slightest clue of why the stock market is going up.

Short sighted and dumb are not words to apply to the likes of democrats, their agenda is power and anyone and anything that stands in their way must be destroyed.

Hillery! has been kicking herself in the butt that she didn’t start a war now that she realizes the wide range of
“special powers” that go with it.

Time will tell.

It really isn't complicated. The corporate earnings that the pre 2000 hyped market only hoped for actually materialized in the 2002-2006 period, and meanwhile interest rates have stayed very low. (Especially if you look at them in real after tax terms, for a borrowing corporation). When you can borrow endlessly at 5.5% and invest nearly endlessly at 2-3 times that...

It’s a very bullish market Almost everybody makes money even novices who think they’ve got it to make money in the stock market. When you don’t know why the stock market is bullish you won’t know when those reasons change and signal a time to get out. You’re knowing a thing or two will get you nothing but worth far less money.

It’s a very bullish market

Well, that's common knowledge. The smart investor knows the market moves in anticipation of events. (i.e. WOT going better than the media is letting on...along with other items such as money from the China market is dribbling back into US markets.)

The crowd hasn't even gotten into the market yet. When the crowd moves in, that's when it's time to think about moving out.
