He said to me that Larry Schiller, who was then directing "Peter and the Great", would spend the entire film budget in the USSR (which he did, including tutoring all the Russian actors in English) and then shoot the rest of the film in his back yard. Note that Larry Schiller has gotten illicit photos of executions, etc. as one of the most agressive paparazzi of all time. I had to laugh at my partner's comment back then, because Larry Schiller is still the ultimate aggressive promoter.

Wow! How long has he been at this gig? Surely the Monroe photos aren’t his? Or are they?

I don’t understand the appeal of Marilyn Monroe. She’s not all that attractive to me. Audrey Hepburn, OTOH...

The guy doing the interview seemed to be talking out of both sides of his mouth - stated flatly that Monroe had begun a relationship with Bobby Kennedy, was looking forward to doing photos for “Playboy”, and was in good spirits, but then said he thought she had committed suicide and was not the victim of a plot - not especially believable in anything he said......

Thanks, for the link endthematrix. . .
Well, there is the messenger here and the message. Schiller obvioiusly has a 'MO' and a reputation to go with it; but but for Marilyn enthusiasts; it will only be about Marilyn and having the opportunity to see here in a 'fresh light'. . .
The picts are great; and no doubt, a welcome surprise to Marilyn admirers. . .
